Man in court over woman's murder in SA

A man charged over the death of a homeless woman in Adelaide has been remanded in custody after a first court appearance.

Jason Luther Curtis, 30, made no application for bail when he came before the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday charged over the death of Rose-Marie Sheehy.

Ms Sheehy's body was discovered in a storeroom in an underground car park on Greenhill Road, Unley, on May 27.

The 32-year-old had moved from Darwin to Adelaide in January this year.

Curtis will appear in court again on August 18.
