Man found guilty of SA bashing murder

A man has been found guilty of the bashing murder of an 80-year-old pensioner in his Adelaide home.

A jury returned the unanimous verdict against Damien Joseph Jelicic, 58, in the Supreme Court late on Thursday.

Jikola Piscioneri was bashed to death with a metal bar as he sat at his computer in his suburban Hendon home in March, 2013. Jelicic has been jailed for life with a judge to set a non-parole period later this year.
