Teen arrested after man allegedly stabbed to death in Adelaide home

A teenager has been arrested after a man was allegedly stabbed to death in a home in Adelaide's south-west.

The man, 45, was found inside the home on Harrow Street in Dover Gardens just after 6.30pm yesterday, with ambulance crews unable to save him.

His partner raised the alarm when she returned home to find him with multiple stab wounds.

An 18-year-old man, who police say was known to the victim, was arrested by detectives at a home in Christies Downs today. 

He is expected to be charged with murder and will be refused bail. 

He will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.
