Man critical after Adelaide standoff

A man is in hospital after holding police at bay for seven hours at an Adelaide home after a domestic incident.

Another man and a woman were allowed to leave the Croydon Park home unharmed after four hours, while the man continued to fend off police until 1am.

STAR police went into the home and found a man with self-inflicted injuries. He's been taken to hospital in a critical condition.
