The man's bank account was accessed at an ATM in the Adelaide suburb on Munno Para on Wednesday, prompting Victorian police to believe he had fled to SA.

On Friday he was arrested a Ceduna, on the state's west coast, after allegedly providing false details to a police patrol.

Adelaide police revealed details of the arrest on Sunday and said he would appear in the Ceduna Magistrates Court on Monday when Victorian police will seek his extradition.
