Family of NCA bombing accused face court

Relatives of NCA bombing accused Domenic Perre have pleaded not guilty to charges relating to a cannabis crop discovered in South Australia.

Francesco, Rita and Antonio Perre faced Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday over drugs and weapons charges, while Domenic Perre appeared on video-link over the same matter put did not plead.

Francesco is Domenic's brother, Rita his wife and Antonio their son.

Rita and Antonio pleaded not guilty to cultivating and trafficking a controlled drug, and Antonio pleaded not guilty to a further two counts of possessing a firearm without a licence. Francesco did not enter a plea on a charge of possessing proscribed equipment.

The charges relate to a 2017 raid at Chaffey, in the state's Riverland region, when officers found a grow room, 13 kilograms of dried cannabis and two guns - but no ammunition.

Bail for the pair was continued and they will appear in the District Court at the end of August.
