Explosives discovery prompts SA evacuation

Old explosives found at a South Australian construction site are being removed.

The explosives, which are not considered suspicious, were found during work at a Mt Gambier building site shortly before 11am, police say.

Houses have been evacuated and a street closed off as a precaution.
