Child dies after SA car, truck collide

A child has died in a fatal collision between a car and truck at Langhorne Creek, south of Adelaide.

While both drivers were uninjured, the boy, a passenger of the car, died at the scene.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area as the Strathalbyn to Milang and the Milang to Langhorne Creek roads are expected to be closed for several hours.

The boy's death takes the State's interim road toll to 26.

It was 26 at the same time last year.
