Boys charged over SA break-in and chase

Police used mobile phone tracking software to find four teenage boys who allegedly broke into an Adelaide home and fled in a stolen car.

The boys broke into a Tennyson home just before midnight on Wednesday and stole items, including a handbag and phones, before fleeing when surprised by its occupants.

They had a car stolen earlier from Brompton and police found them after accessing the software on the stolen phones before pursuing by car and helicopter.

The car was abandoned about 1.40am in Woodville Park, where South Australian police dogs soon found the boys.

All are Adelaide's north-western suburbs. One is aged 15, two are aged 16 and one is aged 17. They have been charged with several offences.
