Asbestos found in WA cop shop

A police station in Western Australia's Pilbara has been shut down following the discovery of asbestos.
"Significant building works" are due for the Roebourne station following the discovery during an annual inspection.
Staff will be relocated to Karratha Police Station until the works are completed.

"It is estimated that these works will be finalised within seven days," police said in a statement on Thursday night.
