Arrest following Roxby Downs disturbance

A man in his mid 20s has been flown to Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious head injuries after being assaulted in the South Australian mining town of Roxby Downs.

Police say a 39-year-old man was arrested and charged with causing serious harm following the "violent disturbance" after midday on Saturday.

Investigations are continuing with the older man due to face court on Monday.
