Bashed Adelaide man in critical state

A man who was bashed by a group of men after an argument in Adelaide is in a critical condition.

The 36-year-old suffered serious head injuries and broken ribs during the assault in Elizabeth South on Monday night, police say.

The Royal Adelaide Hospital says his condition is critical.

The attackers remain at large. Police don't believe the assault was random.
