Taylors Wines managing director Mitchell Taylor said it was a significant coup for Australian wine producers to be recognised in such an important market.
"With a burgeoning middle class, China is now the biggest consumer of red wine in the world and holds real potential for Australian winemakers," he said in a statement on Wednesday.
