SA secures hand sanitiser supplies

Thousands of litres of hand sanitiser will flow to hospitals, schools and other government services in South Australia with a local company committing to supply 20,000 bottles each week.

The state government has partnered with Chesser Chemicals to secure the ongoing supplies during the coronavirus pandemic.

Premier Steven Marshall said the deal was another example of a local manufacturer being innovative to help fight the virus.

"This is a disease that affects the whole community, and together, as a community, we will defeat it," he said.
