The South Australian government has opened its proposed "no jab, no play" laws to public comment.

The government wants to ban unvaccinated children from enrolling in childcare, kindergarten and schools to protect those who cannot be vaccinated or are too young.

The mandatory immunisations would be those listed on the National Immunisation Program childhood schedule, including those for Hepatitis B, whooping cough, polio, measles, mumps and rubella.
