South Australian ambulance officers have ruled out any industrial action before the move to the new Royal Adelaide Hospital, their union says.

The decision comes as the state government, the SA Ambulance Service and the Ambulance Employees Association agreed to form a working group to address staff shortages.

"As part of this agreement we will cease any industrial action and support the move to the new Royal Adelaide hospital," Ambulance Employees Association state secretary Phil Palmer said.
