Ryan Reynolds pokes fun at Aussie accent in Hugh Jackman impersonation

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds have proven that when two of the world’s “Sexiest Men Alive” get together, the results are absolutely horrifying.

From the set of his new film Deadpool, a barely recognisable Reynolds asked his Instagram followers to vote for Jackman to win People Magazine’s coveted cover in 2015.

Donning heavy make-up and a prosthetic mask, the 39-year-old, did his best Aussie accent and attempted to impersonate Hugh Jackman begging for support.

“Good day mate! Hugh Jackman here just reminding you to get your votes in for People's Sexiest Man Alive. Cover's coming up,'' the Canadian said.

Hugh must have been amused because he reposted the clip to his own social media followers on Monday.

“Presenting ... ME by HIM,” Jackman commented.

Jackman, 47, won the award in 2008.

Fellow Aussie Chris Hemsworth took out the award in 2014, while Reynolds held the cover spot in 2010.
