Roslyn Packer awarded top billing at Sydney Theatre

After years of generous support to the arts, Roslyn Packer has been honoured with top billing at the Sydney Theatre.

The iconic playhouse at Walsh Bay is being renamed in her honour and has already been affectionately nicknamed "The Ros".

The new name is an acknowledgment of Mrs Packer’s contribution to the Sydney Theatre Company.

“I believe we all have a responsibility to help and support the community in which we live,” Mrs Packer said.
