Pedestrian killed by car in Sydney's upper-north

A pedestrian has died after they were hit by a car in Sydney's upper-north early this morning.

The incident occurred just before 7am at the intersection of Boundary Street and Wandella Avenue in Roseville.

The woman in her 70s was treated by paramedics after suffering critical injuries, but died at the scene.

NSW Police said the driver of the Mitsubishi wagon, a man in his 50s was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

A crime scene has been established by police.

Boundary Road at Roseville remains closed to traffic between Ferncourt Avenue and Archer Street.
