Rock fisherman dies after being pulled from water near Forster

A rock fisherman has died after being pulled from the water at a beach on the New South Wales mid-north coast.
The man, believed to be in his 50s, fell into the water while fishing with a friend yesterday afternoon.
He was not wearing a life vest.

Emergency services took a jet ski and dinghy out to get the man.
Paramedics performed CPR on the beach but he died at the scene.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
