Roberta Williams has reportedly been threatened by the man convicted of murdering her ex-husband, notorious Melbourne gangland leader Carl Williams.
The Herald Sun says prisoner Matthew Johnson wants Ms Williams to tell police she was told Williams planned to murder Johnson so that he can claim self-defence in an appeal.

Ms Williams has reportedly refused to comment or make a statement to police, but the Herald Sun says it has confirmed police are investigating the threats.
