Police are calling on witnesses with dashcam footage to come forward after a teenager was stabbed during a road rage attack in Sydney.

Last night, officers were called to the corner of the Hume Highway and Hollywood Drive, Lansvale, in the city's south-west.

An 18-year-old was found with stab wounds to his left arm and treated by paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital.

NSW Police said officers were told the man was stabbed during a road rage incident a short distance away on Knight Street, Lansvale.

Detectives are investigating and are appealing for anyone who has dashcam footage or can assist police with inquiries to come forward.
