Man bailed over 'road rage attack, death threats'

A man has been granted bail over an alleged road rage attack which turned into an all-out brawl in Sydney's southwest.

Duglus Aljamany, 25, has been accused of repeatedly punching Majid Mourshidi in the face in his own front yard in Fairfield Heights last night.

The 51-year-old's two young sons stepped in to help, before throwing fists in self defence.

A neighbour told 9NEWS he saw the boys come out of their home and start arguing with the driver.

It is believed the alleged brawl was sparked because of the time Mr Moushidi took too long to cross the road.

Mr Aljamany has also been accused of making violent threats, shouting in Arabic "I'll kill you, I will kill every one of your family members, I know where you live".

In court he strongly denied the allegations, and claimed Mr Mourshidi was the aggressor.

Court papers allege Mr Aljamany continued threatening Mr Mourshidi even after he had been arrested and taken to Fairfield Police Station.

Mr Mourshidi's sons were also taken into custody after the alleged brawl, but were release when police determined they acted in self-defence.

Mr Aljamany lives around the corner from his alleged victims, but is not allowed to be near the street or anybody involved in the incident as part of the conditions of his bail.
