Risky rail passengers shamed in new video
Video of idiotic commuters dicing with death on Melbourne railways has been deemed so bad it is being used as a warning to all rail users.
The never-before-seen security videos show the terrible decisions commuters make to save a few minutes.
In one clip, a passenger who missed his train because he trips over ends up on the tracks after trying to jump on the back of the train.
Another who took a shortcut across the tracks was nearly wiped out when a train unexpectedly pulled up at the station.
Metro Trains Melbourne authorities, who released the clips to Nine News to raise awareness of the dangers of crossing railway tracks, are urging commuters to be more careful on the city's railways.
It comes just days after a Perth man became wedged between a train and the platform because he didn't mind the gap.
It took dozens of commuters to lift the train to set the man free.
