South Australians have been urged not to overdo alcohol consumption on Australia Day.
Substance Abuse Minister Leesa Vlahos says alochol-related admissions to hospital emergency departments usually spike on Australia Day.
"While drinking is a popular Australian pastime, it's important to realise that drinking doesn't always equate to a good time and the effects of alcohol can be deadly," she said.
