Revamp My School website: disability group

There are calls for the My School website to include a list of schools offering disability services to provide parents with greater choice.

Speech Pathology Australia wants the federal government to stop children with disabilities getting a "raw deal" as their parents struggle to determine which school would best suit their child's needs without clearly available information.

The group's national president, Gaenor Dixon, says the "disability inclusion measure" proposal follows the release of a Senate report on the impact of policy and funding on students with disability.
