Reports Melbourne school was sent into lockdown after student allegedly threatened teacher

Callers to Melbourne's 3AW radio station have reported a student had allegedly threatened to kill a teacher, sending the school into lockdown.

Police said in a statement they were "called to an educational facility in Diamond Creek to reports a boy was making verbal threats".

"Officers attended the Main Hurstbridge Road facility about 12.30pm and spoke with the boy before dropping him off to his carer," the statement read.

No one was injured during the incident.
