Reporter swallows fly live on air

The Sky News political correspondent's commentary outside Downing Street in Britain was brought to an abrupt and squeamish halt when he swallowed a fly live on air.

Adam Boulton did his best to plough on but the 55-year-old veteran broadcaster was betrayed by his wretched expression and a larynx that wobbled to a standstill.

"Adam, do you want to take a pause?" the studio presenter asked.

"No, I swallowed a fly, that's alright — but I've recovered now," said Boulton, composing himself.

Boulton had been talking about British Prime Minister David Cameron's dramatic cabinet reshuffle, but his on-air stumble has since taken the spotlight, the MailOnline reports.
