Reef was robbed of top spot: Katter

Maverick federal Queensland MP Bob Katter believes the Great Barrier Reef was robbed in the Lonely Planet's list of top must-see destinations.

Cambodia's Ankor temples pipped the reef to claim top spot.

"I think the judges were highly prejudicial," Mr Katter told reporters in Canberra, likening their decision to poor refereeing of the North Queensland Cowboys rugby league games.
