Police hunt motorist who set fire to red light camera
Authorities are searching for a motorcyclist who set fire to a red light camera in Melbourne’s south-east.
CCTV shows the helmet wearing vandal reaching up to the camera installed on Punt Road, north of High Street, yesterday morning.
“The fire caused significant damage to the camera,” Victoria Police said in a statement.

“Unfortunately for the offender, any images captured are automatically uploaded to the Department of Justice.”
Detectives are now searching for the “bright spark”, who could face charges for criminal damage.
