Recall of blood thinner, dialysis drugs

People on Pfizer's blood-thinning or dialysis medication are being urged to check they have the right drug after a product recall.

Pfizer and the Therapeutic Goods Administration have recalled a batch of Heparin and Lignocaine after a box that was meant to contain the blood thinner instead had Lignocaine.

People who take Heparin or their carers should check the blister pack to make sure there are no anomalies and it matches the external packaging.
