High-ranking Rebels bikies charged with Sydney kidnapping

High-ranking members of the Rebels outlaw motorcycle gang have been charged in relation to the kidnapping, assault and robbery of a man in May.
It's alleged the 45-year-old man was abducted, tied up and assaulted by several men at a house in Castlereagh, in Sydney's west on May 10 who then allegedly stole four cars, a speed boat, three quad bikes and other property.
Six Rebels members, including high-ranking officers from the Penrith and Liverpool chapters, were arrested and charged in relation to the incident, police said.
On Monday, a 27-year-old Green Valley man and a 24-year-old Werrington County man were arrested, while a 30-year-old Emu Plains man and a 23-year-old man from Miller were arrested on Tuesday.
A 23-year-old Glenfield man and 32-year-old Emu Plains man were arrested on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.
All six were charged with special aggravated kidnapping and participating in a criminal group and have since appeared in court where bail was refused.
They are due to appear in Penrith Local Court on September 19.
Police also arrested and charged a 23-year-old Rebels member from Liverpool for receiving stolen goods and fraud offences relating to the registration of one of the stolen vehicles.
