Rapper TI takes down rumour of 'two black eyes'

Rapper TI has taken to social media to shoot down claims he copped two black eyes in a Las Vegas fist fight with pro-boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Initial reports suggested Mayweather, 37, gave the rapper two black eyes during a brawl early on Sunday morning in which punches and chairs were thrown.

"What they say I got two black eyes? Where they at, though?" 33-year-old TI said in the brief video.

"They black for real? Damn, been like that all my life."

The rapper then shows a bandaged hand wrist, saying "F---ed my hand. That's about it," with a laugh.

It is understood the two men were fighting over rumours of an improper friendship between the boxer and the rapper’s wife, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle.

Mayweather was seen at a Vegas strip club only a few hours after the brawl.
