Racecar driver tased after wild on-track brawl

A car race in the US ended with police tasing a driver after two drivers crashed together on the track.

At the Crazy Figure 8 race in Anderson, Indiana, drivers Jeff Swinford and Shawn Cullen clashed their cars and lost control, US media reports.

They spun out on the grass and afterwards, Swinford spun his car in a donut in front of Cullen before ramming the front of his car.

This apparently prompted Cullen to leave his vehicle and grapple with his opponent.

Video captured at the ground shows a police officer then running onto the ground and hitting Cullen with a taser, taking him to ground.
