Quick-thinking tradies trap thieves using GPS
9NEWS
A savvy group of Melbourne workmen have tracked down a gang of thieves using a GPS tracking device.
Tradesman Paul Price told 9NEWS that he arrived at E&S Trading, Noble Park, yesterday morning to find that the offenders had cleared off with a truck load of stock.
Unbeknown to the robbers, their getaway vehicle was GPS-enabled.

Mr Price and his colleagues quickly leapt into action, tracking the truck to a nearby street.
“It was almost like a scene from Beverly Hills Cop,” he said.
The workmen then confronted the thieves who were loading the stolen goods into another car, prompting them to flee.
All of the snatched goods were recovered, and police investigations are ongoing.
