* An incident on a Malaysia Airlines plane is not being treated as terrorism, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull advised MPs.

* The national disability scheme will increase national income by $8 billion, more than double the full-time disability workforce from 73,000 to 162,000, Social Services Minister Christian Porter said.
