A small country town just out of Canberra could soon be about to be taken over by the Fab Five.

The stars of Netflix’s Queer Eye touched down in Australia yesterday, and headed straight for the nation’s capital, but there are rumours afloat they could be headed further afield to Yass.

Huge billboards can be seen on the Barton Highway, which connects Yass to Canberra, featuring the Fab Five – Antoni Porowsi, Tan France, Karomo Brown, Jonathan Van Ness and Bobby Berk – and thank people for visiting the town.

The show, which is a remake of the series from the early 2000s, is about making over men – physically, emotionally, in the kitchen and even their homes.

Yass residents are hopeful the group could be on their way, after interviews had been reportedly conducted in a local pub a few months ago.

There’s also a special meeting taking place tonight, hosted by Yass Valley Tourism and a production crew.

The Fab Five sent Canberra into a frenzy yesterday when they posted photos of themselves on Instagram arriving in the bush capital.
