Out-of-control detainees have cut a hole in the roof of the Wacol Youth Detention Centre.
Images caught by news helicopter shows the shirtless teenagers running riot on top of a building and appearing to attempt to cause further damage about 3pm.

The teens were eventually recaptured after a stand-off with prison authorities.
