Dash cam captures youths abandon stolen cars in intersection after crash
A gang of youths have been unwittingly caught on dash cam as two allegedly stolen cars were crashed and abandoned at a busy Brisbane intersection.
Police are investigating the thefts and crash after a black car was rear-ended by an SUV in Chermside yesterday morning at a set of traffic lights.
The black car that was hit can be seen turning left and coming to a stop halfway through the intersection before several young people jump from both cars and flee.

They run toward a white sedan that turned the corner and pulled over after the crash.
The dashcam owner takes off, putting the group out of view. They are believed to have piled in and taken off in this car.
A spokesperson for Queensland Police told 9News all three vehicles involved in the incident were stolen.
