Video shows man stabbed by stranger in Fortitude Valley
Police have released video of a man being stabbed in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley on Saturday night.
The video shows a man standing on Ann Street speaking with a man, who suddenly stabs him a number of times in the face and chest.
A woman nearby runs to assist the victim as the attacker runs away.

Police are searching for the man, described as being in his mid-20s with a tannned complexion, solid build and short, dark hair. Supplied

Police say the 38-year-old victim did not know the man who approached him just before 11pm.
He was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with major lacerations to the face and chest.
The man is described as being in his mid-20s, with a tanned complexion and solid build with short dark hair.
He was wearing glasses, black shorts, a blue coloured jacket and black runners.
Anyone with information which may help identify the man is urged to contact police.
