Gold Coast school put into lockdown after reports of threats

A Gold Coast school was put into lockdown this afternoon after it reportedly received threats over the phone.
The children at Labrador State School were moved from their classrooms into the hall.
About 100 parents were outside of the school for several hours this afternoon, waiting to find out the details of the incident.

9News understands at about 2.30pm this afternoon, a teenager made threats that were of concern to police.
It caused the school to go into lockdown, along with two nearby childcare centres.
Parents were told the children are safe and the students were brought out in groups.
