Stolen car used by person impersonating police officer on Gold Coast
Police say a stolen car has been used by a person attempting to impersonate a police officer on the Gold Coast.
The dark grey Subaru Impreza, with Queensland registration plates 487 WCM, was stolen from an address on Eden View Drive in Reedy Creek on April 8.
It’s since been linked to at least six dangerous driving offences, and several reports of the driver wearing a Queensland Police Service baseball cap and instructing other motorists to pull over.

Police allege in one incident, the driver attempted to impersonate a police officer on the Pacific Motorway, southbound near Elysium Drive in Carrara on April 16, about 3pm.
The car has also been linked to the theft of two Queensland registration plates, 263 YBR from a Worongary address and 959 WTW from a Yatala address.
The car was last seen by police yesterday about 3pm at Mudgeeraba, bearing the stolen plates 959 WTW, with damage to the rear bumper.
Anyone who sees the car is urged not to approach it and to contact police.
