Bushfires contained south of Brisbane after nervous night
Fire authorities have downgraded their warning over a fire south of Brisbane after a nervous night for residence.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services issued a prepare-to-leave warning for Flagstone, near Jimboomba, yesterday afternoon.
That has now been downgraded to an advice level.

Residents are asked to stay informed of developments, but both fires in the area are now contained.
People in Brisbane, Logan, and Ipswich have been advised to keep inside this morning due to heavy smoke in the area.
The slow-moving fire was yesterday burning in the vicinity of Trailblazer Drive, Saunders Drive and Highgate Drive, Flagstone.

It was travelling towards Saunders Drive and Highgate Drive.
"The fire has been moving in this forested area for a few days now," Queensland Fire and Rescue Services' Wayne Teece said.
Changing winds caused the fire to move towards hundreds of homes.

"It is about one kilometre from the back of the Flagstone estate."
A resident told 9News she caught ash in her hand from the fires.
Other residents said yesterday they were leaving their homes and "not risking it".
