Missing Far North NSW Coast woman found safe

Police have found a woman missing on the far north coast of New South Wales safe and well.

The 42-year-old went missing after driving from her Pottsville home to Hastings Point around 7.30pm yesterday.

Her family found her car around 9.30pm and alerted police a short time later.

Following a public appeal, she was found safe and well at Brunswick Heads just before 4pm today (Monday 28 December 2020).

Police have thanked the media and the community for their assistance.
