Queensland man arrested after allegedly pretending to be a paramedic
A Queensland man has been hit with several charges, including rape and contravening a domestic violence order after allegedly pretending to be a paramedic to develop relationships with multiple women.
It's alleged the 32-year-old man from Goodna, south-west of Brisbane, had repeatedly assaulted a 28-year-old woman known to him since 2019.
Police said the man had claimed to be a paramedic while pursuing relationships with several other women over the three-year period.

The 32-year-old has been charged with assault, rape, contravening a domestic violence order and claiming to be a qualified medical professional. QPS
"It will also be alleged the man claimed to be a paramedic to establish relationships with other women at various times over the last three years, giving them medical advice, assistance and examinations," a statement read.
The man has been charged with five counts of assault and claiming to be a qualified health professional.
He has also been charged with rape, willful damage and contravening a DVO.
The 32-year-old was refused bail and will appear in Richlands Magistrates Court today.
