Top Queensland doctor facing charges for allegedly filming up women's skirts

Sick in the stomach, feeling violated and scared to go to work - that's how a number of women say they feel after finding out they'd been allegedly inappropriately filmed inside a Queensland shopping centre. 

The man accused of carrying out the vile act is top Brisbane emergency children's doctor, Mohamed Zaahid Pandie. 

9News confronted the 44-year-old outside a police station, where he was reporting for bail on seven charges of filming up women's skirts on his mobile phone. 

When asked about the allegations, the father-of-four said he did not want to answer any questions. 

He's accused of taking inappropriate footage of women on escalators and inside clothing stores. 

Zaahid Pandie is a top doctor at the Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane.

He's highly respected and is heavily involved in training and medical conferences. 

He has been suspended from the hospital and, pending the outcome of his charges, could be struck off the medical register.
