Exclusive video shows man who may have witnessed Gold Coast double murder

Video has emerged of a man who may have witnessed a Gold Coast double murder and is now wanted for questioning by police.

The CCTV, obtained exclusively by 9News, shows a man wearing a light-coloured shirt and dark shorts, stumbling along Tallebudgera Creek Road on the same night Shane Ross and Cameron Martin were shot dead.

Police say Ross, a Comanchero bikie and father-of-three, was shot dead in Martin Shiel Park on Friday night.

Martin, 47, is believed to have also been in the park at the same time. He was shot in the chest but managed to flee in his Mercedes Benz before it collided with a tree about 1.5km away.

Ross and Martin had last been seen together with two other men at a Pimpama tavern about 7pm on Friday.

They had met for drinks before Ross and Martin left in a dark coloured vehicle for a meeting in the Tallebudgera park, possibly about a car sale.

Two hours later, Martin, who had changed cars, was dead.

Ross was reported missing on Sunday before his body was found by friends in long grass about one kilometre away.

Witnesses reported the injured third man was seen in the area of the crash and police have described him as a person of interest.

Police have determined that Ross and Martin's deaths are connected.

"Earlier in the evening they were together and they have both been found dead within a kilometre and a half of each other - it is being treated as a double murder investigation," Regional Crime Co-ordinator Kerry Johnson said.

He said the deaths were a "contained incident" and there was no risk to the public.

"I would suggest in one way or another that these people were known to each other."

Police are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage or information to contact detectives.
