Youth worker acquitted by Qld jury

A youth worker accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl in a Brisbane gym pool has been acquitted.

Palauni Madar pleaded not guilty to one count each of rape and indecently dealing with a child under 16 in his care as his Brisbane District Court trial began on Monday.

He was acquitted by the jury of both counts on Tuesday.
