Young woman bitten by police dog in Qld
AAP
A young woman has been bitten by a police dog after allegedly running from officers through thick bushland in southeast Queensland.
The 20-year-old and a 27-year-old man failed to stop for police on the Warrego Highway before driving on the wrong side of the road for 1.8km at Brassall early on Thursday morning, police say.
They abandoned the car and a police dog tracked them through bushland and into a nearby paddock before biting the woman during her arrest.

The man has been charged with driving, drug and weapon offences and will face the Ipswich Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The woman will face the same court later this month on charges of obstructing police and possession of a utensil.
