Young pedestrian critical after crash

A young man is fighting for his life after being hit by a car while crossing a Gold Coast intersection.
The 20-year-old was hit about midnight and has been taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
The male driver of the car wasn't injured and police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the collision to come forward.
